The REPER acrylic iris diaphragm come in several models, with or without an artificial lens, that may be adapted for patients with a range of iris defects. They may be fixated to the anterior capsule surface or underneath the capsule when a patient also requires a PCIOL, and the haptics allow for excellent centration. These next-generation ILDs are made of improved materials, allowing them to be folded and pushed or injected through smaller incisions than previous iris prosthetics.
